This position is an excellent opportunity for hard-working, independent, and disciplined Electrical Engineer who has experience developing networking and computing appliances, based on x86 processors, to apply their skills toward solving unique, challenging, and complex electrical engineering tasks. We are looking for an experienced, accomplished Electrical Engineer to further designs of our industry leading products and solutions. The Electrical Engineer will work across a variety of tasks that are directly involved in engineering, product development, and implementation. The ideal candidate is an inventive problem solver that is capable of working through technical challenges and pragmatic solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and test electrical networking and computing devices and systems, based on x86 Intel processors, that meet customer requirements
  • Design, develop, and test PCB layouts (Altium and KiCAD)
  • Create test engineering plan documentation, testing procedures, and bill of materials documentation 
  • Prepare for and participate in design reviews 
  • Interface with multidisciplinary engineering groups to coordinate technical requirements and product integrity
  • Assembling and testing networking and computing devices

Required Qualifications:

  • BS/BA in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or   similar field
  • 2+ years of electrical engineering 
  • 1-2 years of experience with working effectively in dynamic environments requiring the ability to assess and prioritize tasks, managing time and resources to meet assigned deadlines 
  • 1-2 years of experience with product design, development, and production

Desired Experience:

  • Project management experience 
  • Experienced with thermal design in small electronics appliances

Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to evaluate electrical engineering designs and implement product improvements and product modifications
  • Strong PCB design tools E CAD skills (Altium and KiCAD PCB design tools)
  • Ability to analyze problems, develop, and implement solutions, creating engineering documentation as required
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills combined with the ability to effectively communicate technical issues
  • Ability to learn quickly and work on several projects concurrently
