IP Routers

Rugged Internet Protocol Routers that offer enterprise levels of performance on par with commercial 2U rack mount devices.

Our IP Routers provide enterprise-class performance in low Size, Weight, and Power (SWaP) appliances. Designed for edge-of-network and tactical applications, they are rugged and built to withstand operating in harsh environments. Our IP Routers are based on Cisco IOS, IOS-XE, and the IAS ROS; and enable secure access to voice, data, and video services over commercial network technologies from even the most remote locations.

Cisco IOS-XE OS
Small and pocket-sized, 1” X 5” X 7.5”
Wide Range Dirty DC input, 9-36 VDC
(2) Gigabit WAN and (4) Gigabit LAN interfaces

CISCO ESR6300 EC

The SUB-U ESR6300 EC is a small, rugged, low-power yet high-performance enterprise-class IP router targeted at applications where customers seek Cisco’s IOS-XE operating system for IP packet routing needs in operational environments that demand rugged hardware. Cisco IOS-XE contains all the original capabilities of the legacy Cisco IOS yet brings the next generation of Cisco capabilities such as SD-WAN functionality and support for cellular modems for WAN transport.

IAS Router Operating System

Sub U Systems IP Routers run our “IAS Router Operating System” or IAS ROS as we refer to it. IAS ROS is our standards-based router operating system, and it is what makes our appliances so unique. It offers diverse capabilities not found in commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) IP networking equipment.

The IAS ROS is a product of tens of thousands of engineering working hours to provide you with the most secure, robust, technology agile IP networking solution. We bring together the best IP networking capabilities, protocols, virtual private networking, and security functionality to ensure your critical and sensitive data is kept secure. The IAS ROS also supports seamlessly deterministic failover and failback between the various WAN technologies listed below and can be configured in any order you choose.

Supported WAN technologies include:

Security

Our IP Routers secure your data with military-grade encryption and IPsec and SSL Virtual Private Network (VPN) tunneling technologies. They also provide enterprise-class UTM capabilities to catch malware at the edge of the network.

SUB-U IP Routers’ VPN tunneling modes enable you to use public networks to access private networks securely. They protect the long-haul of data and can terminate to most commercial VPN products, including Aruba Networks, Cisco IOS, Cisco ASA, Juniper, Palo Alto, etc. using standards-based VPN modes.

SUB-U MICRO

The MICRO IP Router is an enterprise-class router in a small, rugged form factor. With CNSA IPSec VPN tunneling greater than 250 Mbps, its performance rivals that of large, rack-mount IT appliances.

The MICRO is also available in a Software Definable Network Appliance (SDN-A) variation. The SDN-A MICRO gives you the option to run third-party Router Operating Systems (Aruba, Cisco, etc.) and other network function or application server virtual machines.
